Choosing Between Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Care
RISE Behavioral Health is a program offered through Southern Hills Hospital to provide focused care for adults over 50 facing issues such as depression, dementia, anxiety, and substance abuse. There are two pathways for behavioral healthcare through this program: inpatient and outpatient care.
Inpatient care is provided through a dedicated 14-bed unit, and it may be most appropriate for severe mental health issues or adults who require daily personal care. Outpatient care utilizes group therapy and one-on-one sessions for an intensive program offering results without a hospital stay. This may be a more affordable and flexible option for individuals who may not need around-the-clock supervision and care.
If you have a loved one over 50 struggling with depression, thoughts of self-harm, or mood changes related to dementia, call Southern Hills Hospital at (702) 880-2100 to learn what RISE Behavioral Health can do to help.
